Bluebell Room (2-3 Years)

 

Our Bluebell room is always full of energy with children learning to develop their physical, social and emotional skills. The room is large free flow area with all areas easily accessible to the children including a small toilet and bathroom. The children within this room have opportunities for all different activities; they have access to large building equipment, role play, sensory play and creative play. The team base the planned adult led activities and experiences around the interests of the children.

Children at this age have begun to develop a strong sense of self and are given the tools to communicate their needs both with communication friendly spaces and quiet areas, Plus lots of physical activities too. The children within this room have their own personal draws which they can place their own belongings in and get used to having responsibility for their own personal items.
